Advanced Facial Rigging (Promo Materials)
In these two videos time lapsed, the artist demonstrates the use of ZBrush for the creation of pose based deformers, which will be controlled inside of Modo on a joint based facial rig (the kind used for game development and VFX) via corrective blendshapes and driven keys. We also see ZBrush being used to sculpt the facial expressions with all of the details for animated displacements, and then exported to Modo to be fitted to the facial rig. The schematic is heavily used to wire the joints to the rig for complete animation.
